Privacy policy

  • We do not store your prompts or the answers the models give you.
  • We keep only what we need to run your account and bill you.
  • We do not sell your data, show ads, or use trackers.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

  1. What we collect

    To run your account and bill you, we keep:

    • Account details: your email address, your username, and your password, stored only as a secure hash.
    • API keys: stored as hashes. We show a key once, when you create it.
    • Usage: for each request, the model, the number of tokens, the cost, the time, and which of your keys made it.
    • Payments: your top-ups, credits, and payment status. For crypto, the deposit address and transaction.
    • Messages you send us by email.

  2. What we do not store

    We do not store your prompts or the model's answers. They pass through our servers to reach the model and come back to you, and we keep no copy.

  3. Who else handles your data

    We use a small number of services to run Silk Compute:

    • Stripe processes card payments. It receives your email and name, and we never see your card number.
    • Crypto payments go to our own Monero wallet or, for other coins, through CryptAPI, which forwards them to us.
    • Cloudflare protects and delivers the site, checks sign-ups for bots, and sends our emails.

    We share only what each one needs to do its job. We never sell your data.

  4. Logs and cookies

    Our servers keep technical logs, including IP addresses, to stop abuse and fix problems. Older logs are removed automatically as new ones come in.

    We use one cookie to keep you signed in. Cloudflare may set cookies to protect the site from bots. Your theme choice is saved in your browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

  5. Your choices

    You can see your account details and usage in the platform at any time. To delete your account, open Settings and choose Delete account. This removes your account, API keys, usage, and payment history from our database right away. Any credits left are lost.

    Stripe keeps its own records of card payments, and crypto transactions stay on their public blockchains. Logs and backups that include your details are removed as they age out.

    You can also email us to ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.

  6. Security

    Passwords and API keys are stored as hashes, connections are encrypted, and only the people who run Silk Compute can reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

  7. Children

    Silk Compute is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

  8. Changes to this policy

    When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use your data, we will email you before it takes effect.
